剧情介绍
哈桑（曼尼什·达亚尔 Manish Dayal 饰）是土生土长的印度小伙儿，家中世代经营着一间小吃摊，从小生长在如此氛围之中，哈桑对于食物充满了感情。长大后，哈桑一家人搬至了浪漫的法国小镇卢米埃，在那里，他们重操旧业，开了一间充满了异域风情的印度餐厅。
名厨马洛里夫人（海伦·米伦 Helen Mirren 饰）在业内一只享有着不菲的声誉，可是尽管她尽职尽责不断精进技术，但却依旧无法获得米其林二星的认可和肯定，这让她觉得十分苦恼。哈桑的餐馆恰巧就开在马洛里夫人的餐厅对面，一来二去之前，两人产生了诸多的矛盾。然而，在哈桑的身上，马洛里夫人察觉到了惊人的天赋，于是化干戈为玉帛，成为了他的师傅。©豆瓣The family of talented cook, Hassan Kadam, has a life filled with both culinary delights and profound loss. Drifting through Europe after fleeing political violence in India that killed the family restaurant business and their mother, the Kadams arrive in France. Once there, a chance auto accident and the kindness of a young woman, Marguerite, in the village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val inspires Papa Kadam to set up a Indian restaurant there. Unfortunately, this puts the Kadams in direct competition with the snobbish Madame Mallory's acclaimed haute cuisine establishment across the street where Marguerite also works as a sous-chef. The resulting rivalry eventually escalates in personal intensity until it goes too far. In response, there is a bridging of sides initiated by Hassan, Marguerite and Madame Mallory herself, both professional and personal, that encourages an understanding that will change both sides forever.
